awesome! my resolution is to get in shape. My DH just went today and got us a family membership to the YMCA. they have free childcare on select days of the week! so, i hope to get in there a few times a week for some good old fashioned excersize!

Cupcakes

I have been on a cupcake trend lately. I was eyeing some YUMMY looking Cherry Vanilla homemade cupcakes and I finally took the plunge and made them a few weeks ago. They turned out really good! I made a cream cheese frosting instead of the buttercream and i think it made them even better! The tartness of the cherry with the sweet, cream cheesy frosting was amazing! I am definitely going to make these again in the near future. She doesn't update that blog anymore with new cupcakes but she keeps it up with the list of all her older recipes. there are so many I want to try. My kids love when I make cupcakes. Because of this, they don't usually last long. Eat 'em while you can at my house, lol!

I'm busy busy busy! But its a blast!

This weeks is a Crayola crayon quizz to see how many of the big box of 64 can you correctly name! Fun, huh? I didn't do too bad. There are some new ones, the Kids Choice ones that i didn't know and they kicked my butt! But this is how I did:

Yes, it's that time again....

yes, i'm a geek and i spend waaaaaay too much time on the internet. And bad fonts do indeed annoy me, lol. And i'm picky about what fonts I use and tend to use the same few, though I have tons uploaded.

I'm so bored. I cleaned up the house a litle bit, but i still have a mountain of laundry to do. I HATE putting it away. I don't mind putting in the washer then putting it in the dryer. But after that it usually goes into a basket and that's where it stays, lol. Until i feel like putting it away. I need to go wash my car. It's black so it's pretty much always dirty, lol. I keep seeing other shiny black SUV's that are all clean and pretty. and probably have a garage they put it in to keep them clean, unlike me. But its hot out there (<--insert whiney voice) I'd rather stay in here, in my nice air conditioned house. and i don't feel like paying $15 ($17 if i include the tire shine) at Mike's Car Wash, lol. Poor car. So i'll just sit here on the couch next to sleeping Aidan and tired Emma, watching Sponge Bob, lol.
